There’s a lot of controversy after the car crash accident autopsy, and Death Photos of Nikki Catsouras , 18, killed Oct. 31, 2006 in a two-car crash on the 241 toll road near Lake Forest.

Nikki was killed last Halloween when she took the keys to her father’s Porsche and sped away, just before she was scheduled to see a doctor. She had been at home and not feeling well.

The night before, her father, Christos, had taken away the keys to her car to discipline her.

Nikki had never driven the Porsche 911 before and was going about 100 miles per hour on the toll road when she clipped a car, sped out of control and slammed into an unmanned toll booth.

I have a daughter who has totalled two cars already: one was almost as mangled as the Porsche Nikki was driving. I am going to show her these photos in hopes she will think next time she drives recklessly.

America has had its’ head in the sand too long about many things. Death is a part of life. Nikki is not in these photos – her spirit is in a better place. I do believe permission should have been granted, after a proper time of grieving, for these photos to be aired. However, if one life is saved due to the inescapable reality, and that life is YOUR daughter or son, is it not worth it? All things work toward good…. for those of you that have faith, you know the rest of that statement. Believe.

I agree with penny. Pull your head out of the sand people. Just because you close your eyes doesn’t mean it isn’t gonna happen.

    RIP Nikki

I agree with the bloggers – these pictures are serving a very critical purpose. Obviously they are very difficult and traumatic to look at but they ‘will save lives’.
The one thing that stands out most when looking at these photos in the reality that we are merely flesh and blood and life IS fragile. Having a drivers license is both a privilege AND a responsibility.
When we get behind the wheel, we are responsible for OUR own safetly and the safetly of others as a car CAN become a deadly weapon when misused as sadly evidenced here.

These pictures SHOULD be required viewing for all high school students and especially leading to the weeks immediately prior to and after graduation as it seems to me there are more teenage car deaths during that timeframe than at other times – These pictures WILL save lives and cause many teenagers AND adults to think twice when getting behind the wheel – there is no doubt in my mind about that. My sincere condolences to the Catsouras familiy – they can’t bring their daughter back – it’s too late for her but it’s not for us. Drive safely…. …please.

This is great, her parents are suing, she was 18 when this happened, which means she is no longer their “child” she was an adult and a stupid one at that, I’m glad she only killed herself and not anybody else, the pictures are cool too the brain splatter is a nice touch.

this site is called…. If you went to this site acknowledging what it is, then you have no right to bitch about it. Same thing goes for explicit music. they have advisorys and warnings labeled on the covers so that you know, so stop bitching!
