Tony Curtis

Tony Curtis, the a tailor’s son who became a moviestar in the 1950s died last night in Sin City at the age of 85 of cardia arrest in his home.

To be honest people of of my generation, generation x, are not really familiar with him, I couldn’t name a movie he was in until I looked it up, but we all know the name.

He most famous role was with Marilyn Monroe in “Some Like it Hot”.  This movie was considered the funniest comedy of all time by some.  Another role he was known for was in “The Defiant Ones”.

An interesting fact I found out was, was that his original name was Bernard Schwartz and he changed it because it sounded too Jewish.
