Brittany Murphy husband was found dead on Sunday at his  L.A. home he shared with his late wife, according to the coroner’s office. Simon Monjack’s death has been reported as a possible heart attack from natural causes, L.A. County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said. Monjack was 39 at the time of his death.

“He was discovered by Brittany’s mom as being unresponsive” in the master bedroom of the Hollywood Hills home at about 9:40 p.m. Sunday, Winter said. Sharon Murphy called paramedics, who pronounced him dead.

Although there were Prescription drugs found in his bedroom, but there was no indication that there was fould play or an overdose as the cause of Brittany Murphy husband’s death. No death photos of Brittany Murphy husband have been published.

An autopsy was planned Tuesday, but a final cause of death would await results of planned toxicology tests, Winter said.

Murphy died last Dec. 20 after collapsing in the home. Murphy’s cause of death and striking resemblance to one of her last movies brought a lot of attention.
